Man Made Religions and Philosophies
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
One of the fundamentals one must learn when coming into the knowledge of the truth is to unlearn and break away from all traditions, philosophies, and religions created by man and not after the rudiments and principles Christ left us. Below you will find a list of a vast array of religions that were created by men as a means to control the hearts and minds of the people.
The origin of the word religion:
1150–1200; Middle English religioun (< Old French religion ) < Latin religiōn– (stem of religiō ) conscientiousness, piety, equivalent to relig ( āre ) to tie, fasten ( re- re- + ligāre to bind, tie; cf. ligament) + –iōn– -ion; cf. rely
We must understand YHWH never gave the Israelites religion, being an Israelite is based on nationality (1 Chronicles 9:1) not religion. YHWH gave us laws, statues and commandments (Exodus 24:12). Never confusion Hebrew Israelite with a religion! Below you’ll find a list of the origins and founders of some of the world’s most popular religions and why you should stay away from them!

Christianity– Roots began in righteousness around 30-33 A.D. in Judea under the Roman Empire. However this was never a religion. It was in Antioch that the disciples were called Christians for the first time by the people of the Church. This meant they were the recognized followers of Christ (Acts 11:26). Man later made this a denominational religion rather than a way of life and recognized reputation.
As you can see many religions doctrines have entered into the world and have captivated the minds of our people. We must break free from these doctrines of devils and do as YHWH commanded!
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
