Deuteronomy 14:2 " For thou art an holy people onto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all nations that are upon the earth"
The Most High chose Israel to be his only regarded and beloved nation, (Isaiah 40:17; II Esdras 6:54) if you understand this then you must also understand that no unclean individual would ever be allowed into his kingdom. (Ephesians 5:5) This is the reason why God gave Israel commandments, statutes, and laws to live by. Here we address his dietary law and see that when we follow his diet we are able to live healthier and longer lives rather than sickly and diseased ones. Proverbs 16:25.
Ecclesiasticus 30:14-15 "Better is the poor, being sound and strong of constitution, than a rich man that is afflicted in his body. Health and good estate of body are above all gold, and a strong body above infinite wealth"
Deuteronomy 14:3-5 " Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing. These are the beast which ye shall eat: the ox,
the sheep, and the goat,
The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat,
and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois."
Deuteronomy 14:6 "And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat." "Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you"
Deuteronomy 14:8 "And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass."
Job 14:4 "Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one"
Deuteronomy 14:9-10 " These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:
Deuteronomy 14:10 And whatsoever hath not fins or scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you."
Leviticus 11:10 "And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:"
Leviticus 11:11-12 "They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. What so ever have no fins or scales in the waters that shall be an abomination unto you."
Isaiah 65:4 ..." which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;" Ephesians 5:5 " For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God"
Religions, lack of culture, and society have influenced people into thinking that the laws of God are no longer in effect. It's clear to realize that that's not the case, when you analyze the increase of health issues our people suffer from now a day:
- HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
- HIGH CHOLESTEROL
- HEART ATTACKS
- COLON CANCER
These along with other issues prove that eating all these unclean animals have a great negative impact on a humans body. Reason why the Most High was real clear with Moses when he instructed us what we were to consume and what we were to leave alone. Proverbs 4:4
"And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, And the vulture,"
"and the kite after his kind; Every raven after his kind; And the owl, and the night hawk,"
" and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind, And the little owl, and the cormorant"
"And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat"
Leviticus 11:20 " All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you."
Proverbs 13 :28 " The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want"
The knowledge our Celestial Father left us through his scriptures teach us discipline in all aspects of our lives. Our diet and physical upkeep being a real important one. Remember we are his temple.
I Corinthians 3:16-17 " Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are"
Romans 12:1 I bessech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable, unto God, which is your reasonable service"
