SELFISH = Lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one’s own personal profit or pleasure. Many times we do or say things and never consider how it affects everyone around us. We are so self-absorbed that we completely forget that EVERY action has a re-action. No matter how big or small we think it is, something is bound to change. Let’s look at some examples from the Bible where things were done that affected many people around them. Genesis chapter 3 – Eve eats of the forbidden tree, her rebellion affected the perfect world we would have enjoyed with the Most High. Joshua chapter 6-7 – Most High commands Israel to destroy the entire city of Jericho and to take nothing from it. Dying Just To Be Close To Him

He’s nothing less than wonderful and everything above. Therefore I will not…to will, but to live by His (Romans 12:2, Isaiah 55:8,9).  As sincere and humble as I can be, I FEAR You (Proverbs 1:7). For I present myself unto You pleading, help me! How vain this pain of this needle in my chest. I’d rather suffer to fill self with honor than suffer made void. I have an ear, thank you! I can hear, THANK YOU for I do hear You (Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) 17:13-14)! Show me, myself in the mirror. What is this needle? Woe! Swollen and black, it’s ugly, I’m cold. Inside is willing, outside is dying. Zealous to be close to your burning face, mercy and grace. Wake me boldly show me Truth (Isaiah 58:1). Maturing rosebush, set by a hole.
