No Time for Idle Time

It is always something to do that pleases the Most High to avoid idle time.

Prov. 31:27 “She looketh well to the ways of her household and eateth not the bread of idleness.”

A virtuous woman is never idle. She is always looking for things that need to be done in her household no matter what it is.

Here is a short list of things to do in the kitchen to avoid idle time:

  1. Plan out your meals for the week.
  2. Prepare meals that need to be cooked so it will be easier for you to start when you arrive home from work.  For example (cut up any onions, bell peppers, thaw out meat, etc…)
  3. Find new ideas and different meals to cook.
  4. Start teaching you children how to cook.

Prov. 19:15 “Slofulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.”

Ladies we can’t be slothful. We have to do our works for the Most High and all that we do is not in vain. Even though things like cooking for your home may seem small but it is a very important job. We are building a nation in it starts in our homes. The Most High sees our works and we will be rewarded in the end.
