Tilapia over brown rice

This is a quick, easy, and healthy dish to make for your family.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A pack of tilapia fish
  • 2 cups of brown rice Tip: For every one cup of rice you’ll need two cups of water
  • 2 tea spoons of olive oil ( 1 tea spoon per piece of fish)
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Green Bell peppers
  • Cilantro
  • Seasoning salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic salt
  • And your choice of green veggies. (I prefer fresh green beans)

How to make it:

  1. Set the oven temperature to 325 degrees
  2. Rinse of the fish
  3. Cut up onions, bell pepper, tomatoes, and cilantro into small pieces
  4. Place fish in baking pan along with the cut up onions, bell peppers, cilantro, and tomatoes
  5. Sprinkle olive oil over fish
  6. Place in oven
  7. Boil water for rice
  8. Pour rice in boiling water
  9. Boil water for green beans
  10. Season green beans to your liking then put them in boiling water
  11. Turn over fish so it will cook evenly
  12. Serve after 20 to 30 minutes
