Not Today Satan

“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. 7And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?  Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it” (Job 1:6-7). On a daily basis we are faced with people, instances, circumstances, etc. that try our faith in the most High and His laws.  These situations test whether we will do the right thing or not and attempt to persuade us into going against the most High.  Satan is always looking to pull us away from God and he uses many tactics to do so.  Family, work, school, friends, everything can become a means for Satan to use in order to steer us away from doing what is right...

Being Accountable

“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12)  There comes a point in life where we must grow up and realize that we, and none else, are responsible for our own actions.  “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things” (2 Corinthians 13:11).  It is a childish mentality to put our actions on another.  A mentality, I must admit, many (myself included) still succumb to. Self Examination

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.  Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” 2 Corinthians 13:5               It can become very easy for us to get distracted by the things in this world, for this reason it is crucial that we are constantly examining ourselves, our thoughts and our actions. Just knowing that you are an Israelite, alone, isn’t going to get you into the kingdom of heaven. Instead one must also keep the commandments and behave in a righteous dIsraelite fashion.  But such a task can get understandably hard at times.  We are surrounded, on a daily basis, by people who have no regard for the Most High, Christ, the laws, or even righteousness.
