While working, I came across a home that had beautiful plants on each step leading to the door and many more outside of the door.  I noticed that each plant had egg shells on top of the soil and I wondered why anyone would do that but figured it obviously helped the plants.  Since my last article was on plants, I decided to research it and find out exactly what the benefits of the egg shells were.  The following are my results.
