Having the Confidence to Walk in the Law

There is more to being a righteous individual than just knowing that you’re an Israelite.  In order for one to be considered righteous, they must also keep the laws and commandments of the Most High.  Deuteronomy 6:25 reads, “it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.”  Due to the fact that we live in a wicked society, keeping the laws of God is something that is frowned upon by many.   Because of this reality, some lack the confidence needed to stand up and proclaim what is right.  This is due to the fear of what others will think and do.   But what do the scriptures say about this mentality? “And fear not them which are able to kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather...

Ready for Tabernacles?

During the Exodus of the Israelites from Goshen Egypt both men and women were headed to a journey in the wilderness of Mount Sinai.  When I think about that time I wonder, as an Israelite woman, would I have been one of the complaining ones who found herself put to death by the Most High God in the wilderness (Numbers 16:27,31-32), or would I have been a helper who sewed tapestry and fine things for the building of the Tabernacle? Exodus 35:22; “And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted…”  How about survival? Would I have known any survival skills or been willing to accept instruction from a fellow experienced Israelite sister regarding what it took to survive in the wilderness of Mount Sinai?
