Stress-LESS

Stress-LESS

Stress: The physical pressure, pull, or other force exerted on one thing by another; to strain.

Stress, a very harmful entity if not expelled. Stress alone can literally alter or have damaging results on the brain and even the body! Stress is common in all, but what matters is it is most common among our people, Israel. The majority of our people are living the curses which leads to stress. Take poverty for instance (one of many curses), our people are known to be the nation most poor, this is one example as to why stress occurs and common among our nation.

When Stressed

When stressed the adrenal and pituitary glands release certain chemicals like adrenaline, cortisol and dopamine. Once these chemicals are secreted into the brain it than activates a stress response increasing the heart rate alerting the body…”FLEE” to survive the endangered situation. If there is nothing to run from, the stress response simply remains in your system, fueling more feelings of unease.

Too Much Cortisol!

Cortisol is harmful when released too frequently in the brain. This hormone can actually damage the liver and our brain cells from prolonged exposure. Cortisol breaks down hippocampus cells. Which is responsible for a great deal of your memory, including episodic memory. For example, when a person has been in a car accident and has suffered server trauma and the loss or damage of their hippocampus cells, their losing what will be a benefit in helping that person to forget this episode of danger (traumatic experience). This imbalance can affect your brain’s ability to communicate with itself, and make the person more vulnerable to developing a mental illnesses like: depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. The individual will be left with a rooted scare which can become inflamed because of the consistent thought of anything reminding them of that once traumatic event. Excess cortisol has a tendency to overwhelm the healthy good-feeling hormones in your brain like serotonin. Long-term stress can permanently reduce the levels of serotonin in your brain, making the ever presence of cortisol even more dangerous. This is what give Psychologist a reason for their useless existence. Their pretending to know what is going on with an individual to than pretend diagnose them. The whole bottom result is to push one of their abominable drugs which then puts the individual in an even worse state in which he/she was in the first place!

After an episode of danger, the brain returns itself to normal and rids the cortisol to the kidneys were it exits the body. If the perceived threat (stress) does not pass, cortisol remains in the brain, causing damage. For this reason, it is important to learn how to relax and return your body to homeostasis, in which normal, healthy chemicals will return to its place in the brain. A slight imbalance in which a gland secrete too much of the wrong hormone can affect the brain in a bad way causing the rest of the body damage. Stress heightens emotions like anger (weakens the liver), grief (weakens the lungs), worry (weakens the stomach), and fear (weakens the kidneys). These emotion are no good for the body or spirit.

The Reliever

When defined the term “reliever”, it means, a person or thing that relieves. Christ has made it clear that he has perfected at being exactly this, the reliever! And we ought to give all praise and glory to the father in heaven for such a gift! Before coming into the Truth I had no clue as to how to deal with my everyday stress. I have to admit, I was a mess! Now, in the Truth, having a better understanding of things and embracing the fact that Yahawashi (Christ) is present to those seeking relief from trouble that cause stress. Cutting any effects of damage done to our temple and spirit. It takes a consistent practice, reminding myself that he is present, but with it, practice becomes natural. Our bodies are healthier this way……Below I have listed some scriptures that are inspirational reminders;

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

~Philippians 4:13

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

~Isaiah 40:29-31

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

~Matthew 11:28

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”

~John 16:33

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

~John 14:27

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;”

~2 Corinthians 4:7-9

“Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.”

~Psalm 119:143

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

~Isaiah 26:3

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

~Isaiah 43:2

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

~2 Corinthians 12:9

I also want to include eating healthy, meaning, keeping our dietary laws (PDF below regarding the dietary laws), and even limit our process food consumption. Rest is important too! Get a decent amount. Lastly, participating in a stress-reduction activity such as deep breathing, massage or exercising can also help! OH BOY does a massage sound great!?

Let’s deal with our stress the righteous way!

Shalom my Sistas!
