Wonders of Ginger!
There is one plant that I would highly encourage you to grow. Its health benefits are surprising! GINGER! It’s easy to grow inside or outside of your home. Go to your supermarket and buy a medium size piece of ginger root for replanting. Start with a gallon size plant container (2 gallon size), use some organic planting soil, and fill the container to the top with soil (about 2-3 inches from the top). Replant the ginger root about ¼ the way down into the soil, no more than that. Any deeper when watering may cause the root to rot. Keep the soil moist not to wet every day when needed. Give your plant sunlight daily in semi shaded area from the sunlight. In about 2 to 4 weeks you should see little green shoot sprouts coming up. As the shoots get large and taller, In about 3 to 4 months your ginger root has grown a nice size. Remove some of the larger pieces separate very carefully, Put them in a smaller pot in just water alone not to break the long strands of root growth. Keep a watch on the roots for rotting spots, (sign of too much water). When they have grown large enough to harvest now you may use. Safe and very gentle on your stomach. You can use it in all kinds of cooking or as a tea for daily drinking. A cup in the morning and at night before bed is great for its many health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, helps build the immune system at cellular level, also is an Anti-inflammatory.

Tea recipe for daily use:
Boil 1-1½ qt. of water in a pot. To the side in a two quart size container, add 3 or 4 slices of ginger, then add 3 Tsp. of fresh lemon. Of raw honey add about 3 to 4 tbsp. Then add your hot water into the container! Let sleep for 20 min. then strain into cup and ENJOY the many health benefits ginger has to offer!!
