TELA was built around one idea: culture is intentional. We create environments where young people learn to speak up, work through conflict, lead with emotional intelligence, and grow into who they are meant to be.
This is not just education. This is development with purpose. The five pillars of camp are:
Empowerment — students who function as a community, not just classmates
Communication — learning to talk through real situations with honesty and respect
Boldness — getting comfortable using your voice
Development — growing into community life with intention
Emotional Intelligence — learning to identify, channel, and manage emotions so you lead with wisdom instead of impulse
