Adam & Eve Part 11: The Fruit of Lies

Genesis 3:4 KJVS

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Off top, this is what we are dealing with. A Liar! The opening lets you know we are dealing with a shady character off top. Someone you shouldn’t trust or give that level of trust to. As clearly he is saying something that is clearly wrong. Yet the delivery, charm, and compelling nature of this man, was enough to cause Eve to believe him.

John 8:44 KJVS

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

You have to understand the nature of Satan. He is a deceiver. He caused Adam and Eve to spiritually get put to death, to kill their bodies that would have lasted perpetually. Satan didn’t have any regard for Adam and Eve’s well being. He didn’t abide in the truth; meaning he didn’t abide in the law. Therefore, he was lawless and moved lawlessly. He is the father of lies. Why? A father is known for providing and protecting. Satan will provide the lies needed to push his agenda of throwing you off and then protect those lies through hiding them with deceit; defending those lies.

1 Kings 22:5-6 KJVS

And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day. [6] Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramoth–gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

Jehoshaphat who was a more righteous king than Ahab. Whereas Ahab was the most wicked king of Israel. And Jehoshaphat guided King Ahab righteously by sending him to inquire of The Most High through the prophets. However, something else was in play.

1 Kings 22:19-22 KJVS

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. [20] And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth–gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. [21] And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. [22] And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

You see, the prophets that were all on one accord, were all on one accord to destroy him. Even though they knew it not. Because of the level of wickedness Ahab was on, God has a counsel in heaven concerning him and his judgment. Spirits were called in, both good and evil. And one spirit stood up; one angel stood up, and said how they would be a lying spirit in the mouth of all of his prophets. Showing that The Most High God is not in the dark with how spirits are operating. He is very much so aware. Yet, many situations are a test to determine how you may respond. Need it be good or bad.

Revelation 2:9 KJVS

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

God is aware of the lies that are said till this day concerning who we are and those that claim to be us. That lie concerning their own identity.

Genesis 3:5-6 KJVS

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. [6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

People always ask, “so what did Adam and Eve Eat”? Was it an apple? Was it a mango, orange or some other fruit? Well, I will tell you. But that begins with another question. Why fruit? Because fruit is something that grows and is produced. Just like spiritual traits and qualities within a person. Eve was in a situation where she partook of fruit that she thought was good, from a bad tree.

Hosea 10:13 KJVS

Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.

Eve was in a situation where she partook of fruit from a bad tree. She partook of the fruit of lies. She was not trusting in what The Most High God said, but rather in this new information that went against what thus saith the Lord is. Which resulted in her trusting in her own way and the path that she decided to follow.

Proverbs 19:27 KJVS

Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.

If you are in a place where the instruction is causing you to go off the path of thus saith the Lord. You have to disconnect from that path and that person(s). Lest you fall. We get caught up too many times in hearing everybody out, when everybody doesn’t deserve, nor has earned the place to be heard out. Not all information is good information.

Sirach 19:22 KJVA

The knowledge of wickedness is not wisdom, neither at any time the counsel of sinners prudence.

Being aware of the in’s and out’s of things that the Bible would condemn and define as wicked isn’t a come up. Like if someone is teaching you how to roll a blunt. When the reality is you shouldn’t be smoking. That information does you no good. And if anything, it becomes a stumbling block. Because now that you know how to do it. You can become tempted by it, tempted to act on it.

Sirach 1:26 KJVA

If thou desire wisdom, keep the commandments, and the Lord shall give her unto thee.

If you desire true wisdom, keep The Most High God’s laws and commandments. The knowledge of everything else is centered around that. But without it, it’s just vain knowledge.

2 Esdras 3:26 KJVA

And in all things did even as Adam and all his generations had done: for they also had a wicked heart:

Adam and Eve ultimately fell into a wicked mindset that they had to repent from.

Hebrews 2:13 KJVS

[13] And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
