Adam & Eve Part 2: Adam of The Ground

Some may ask, did we really come from the earth? The answer is yes! Let us get a better understanding by further analyzing Genesis.

Genesis 2:7 KJVS

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

When mankind was created, we came forth from the earth. Even though it says, “the dust of the ground” using the Strong’s Concordance we are able to define “dust”.

Strong's Definition

From H6080; dust (as powdered or gray); hence {clay} {earth } mud: - {ashes} {dust} {earth} {ground} {morter} {powder} rubbish.

Now we know dust can be powdery or grayish. However, in essence, dust is usually from clay, earth or mud. Especially, before the industrial age and modern living. Dust is used to paint an idea of how much earth The Most High God used as clay to mold us, given the vast size of the planet earth as we know it. In comparison, very little was required and sufficient to form man.

Sirach 33:10 KJVA

And all men are from the ground, and Adam was created of earth:

All those who you see today are from the ground, even though we are fashioned in the womb and born out of a woman. We are able to verify our orgin using empirical science. If we die (man, woman, or child) we will begin to decompose into the earth. Why? Because the human body is composed of elements that are found in it! The same is true for other things in nature. If an apple, for instance, was to be plucked from a tree and buried, it will slowly decompose back into the earth. As the earth is where it had its origin, although it was plucked from the tree. The earth is the womb of life. The Most High God forms the seeds accordingly. Let us take a more in-depth look on the connection to the earth and the human body.

“The human body is a miraculous, well-oiled, and exceptionally complex machine. It requires a multitude of functioning parts to come together for a person to live a healthy life—and every biological detail in our bodies, from the mundane to the most magical, is driven by just 21 chemical elements.

Of the 118 elements on Earth,”

The four most abundant chemicals on earth contained within the human body are listed in the table below:

Carbon

Hydrogen

“Values are for an average human body weighing 70 kg.”

The rest are trace elements in smaller amounts. This source is from:

2 Esdras 3:5 KJVA

And gavest a body unto Adam without soul, which was the workmanship of thine hands, and didst breathe into him the breath of life, and he was made living before thee.

The key component to make these bodies alive is a soul; a spirit. When Adam’s body was first formed it was lifeless; dead. The Most High had to put a spirit in it. Which is why a body can have a functioning heart but still be dead, a functioning brain but still be dead. You have to have a spirit retained in that body to not only make it alive but to keep it alive. Even if everything else is okay, without a spirit the body dies.

Hebrews 2:13 KJVS

[13] And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
