The Judgements of God “Diseases”
Psalms 107:17 “Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.”
Foolish people that transgress the laws of the Most High become afflicted with painful diseases of all sorts. People fail to realize that it is the Most High that has power over all plagues and diseases.
Revelation 16:11 “And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.”
He is an all-powerful God that demands respect and will not hasten to bring forth righteous judgment. I will cover the topic on diseases or plagues as the Bible calls them which are judgments which God brings upon the wicked for their evil deeds.
LEPROSY
Leviticus 13:2 “When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:”
Leprosy—caused by bacteria—can be traced back thousands of years. It manifests itself slowly, with ulcers appearing on the skin and growing until victims appear to be rotting away. It tends to strike most severely in the cooler areas of the body (the face, hands, feet, and genitals). Although whole limbs don’t fall off, it is not uncommon for affected people to lose fingers, toes, and even their nose, leaving behind a nightmarish face with ragged holes in the middle. The sores of leprosy are so hideous, that for centuries those that suffer from it have been removed from society. Even today there are “leper colonies” throughout the world.

EPIDERMODYSPLASIA VERRUCIFORMIS
Deuteronomy 28:60 “Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.”
A very rare skin disorder. Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis is characterized by a susceptibility to human papilloma virus, and the growth of horrifying tree-bark-like warts over the body. The world at large first heard about this dreadful disease in 2007, when the case of DedeKoswara showed up on the internet with a similar disease. Dede was featured on shows on both Discovery and The Learning Channel. He has since undergone multiple surgeries to remove his warts, with pounds of them hacked off at a time. Unfortunately, the warts of both diseases are very aggressive, and grow back immediately. It is estimated that Dede will need at least two surgeries a year to maintain a reasonably normal appearance. NECROTIZING FASCIITIS
Minor cuts and scrapes are a part of life—and for the most part, they are merely inconvenient. But in the presence of flesh-eating bacteria, the smallest of wounds can become life-threatening in just hours. The bacteria do not actually “eat” the flesh, but release toxins that destroy tissue. The infection is treated with massive amounts of antibiotics, and all affected flesh must be removed to stop it from spreading. Surgeries often involve the amputation of limbs and other apparent mutilations. Even with medical care, necrotizing fasciitis is lethal in 30-40% of all cases.

THE BLACK DEATH
The Black Death, also known as the Black Plague, is a devastating pandemic that first struck Europe in the mid-late-fourteenth century (1347–1351), killing between one-third and two-thirds of Europe’s population. Almost simultaneous epidemics occurred across large portions of Asia and the Middle East, indicating that the European outbreak was actually part of a multi-regional pandemic. Including Middle Eastern lands, India, and China the Black Death killed at least 75 million people. The same disease is thought to have returned to Europe every generation with varying degrees of intensity and fatality until the 1700s.
SCABIES
Scabies or “seven year itch”, is a contagious skin disease, that can transfer among humans and animals. “Sarcoptes scabiei” or “sarcoptic mange” mites, are tiny sometimes visible parasites, that stick under the “host’s skin” causing severe itching. Norwegian scabies or “crusted scabies” is the most severe form of the infection, and is associated with immunosuppressed hosts. Permethrin Cream, although very expensive is the most effective ointment that treats scabies skin disease.

SMALLPOX
(also known as the “Blackbox”) is an infectious disease contracted by humans. It is caused by two types of virus, the Variola Minor and Variola Major, which came from Latin varius words Variola or Variola Vera, which means “spot”, or “varus”(which means pimple). Smallpox , was first named in Europe, and was compared to variola , “great pox” and or ‘syphillis’. Hemorrhagic smallpox is the most severe, it is associated with extensive bleeding on the skin, mucous membranes , gastrointestinal tract and the throat. In most cases, majority of those who are affected are adults.

GENITAL WARTS (HPV)
1 Samuel 5:9 “And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote theand great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.”
A wart in the moist skin of the genitals or around the anus. Genital warts are due to a human papillomavirus (HPV). The HPVs, including those that cause genital warts, are transmitted through sexual contact. HPV can also be transmitted from mother to baby during childbirth. Most people infected with HPV have no symptoms, but these viruses increase a woman’s risk for cancer of the cervix. HPV infection is the most common sexually transmitted disease in the US. It is also the leading cause of abnormal PAP smears and pre-cancerous changes of the cervix in women. There is no cure for HPV infection, although anti-viral medications can reduce outbreaks and topical preparations can speed healing. Once contracted, the virus can stay with a person for life. Also called condyloma acuminatum, condylomata.
