Your Truth: All Roads lead to Home?

I find it remarkable that more people are opting out of “you are right, I was wrong” or even “I stand corrected” and preferring terms surrounded by the phrase “That is your truth” (sigh…facepalm).

Have you ever heard the saying, “All roads lead to home”? Although the phrase can seem catchy and appealing and partly stems from the phrase “all roads lead to Rome”. It’s rooted more in vain philosophy, rather than grounded in truth. The theory generally stems from the notion that all methods of doing something will achieve the same result. No matter what path I take, I will end up where I need to go. Yet, this is not what life, school, or even empirical science teaches us. The truth is more like a math problem. Yes, there may be different ways to solve the problem or arrive at the same answer but the answer is the same. Not contrary, not opposing, not multiple choice.

Again, even if someone says, “there is more than one way to skin a cat.” That is not implying that any way one chooses will work or even be effective for that matter. It is merely saying that there is more than one way to solve the problem.

Wisdom of Solomon 14:3 But thy providence, O Father, governeth it: for thou hast made a way in the sea, and a safe path in the waves;

How many of you knew the ocean had currents? And I don’t mean just waves, like when you stand at the shore on the beach. Some of you may recall watching the animated film “Finding Nemo” and recall the scene with the turtle and how they were riding the waves. Those are the oceanic currents, which are literally the highways of the ocean. Examine this excerpt below.

“Ocean currents are the continuous, predictable, directional movement of seawater driven by gravity, wind (Coriolis Effect), and water density. Ocean water moves in two directions: horizontally and vertically. Horizontal movements are referred to as currents, while vertical changes are called upwellings or downwellings.

Notice these oceanic currents are continuous. They continue to flow. And not only are they continuous they are also predictable. They have a consistent pattern as to how they form and where they are generally located. And each current only moves or flows in one direction. Similar to a highway or freeway. Amazing the order the Heavenly Father made even in the ocean! Wisdom of Solomon mentions how God made “a way” meaning a “path” in the sea. It lets you know he gave it order and direction. And not only did he make paths, the scripture further mentions the purpose; he made paths so you could navigate the waters safely. What may happen if you don’t take the paths? Or choose to go in any direction you choose? Simple… You won’t be safe!

2 Esdras 7:7-8 [7] The entrance thereof is narrow, and is set in a dangerous place to fall, like as if there were a fire on the right hand, and on the left a deep water: [8] And one only path between them both, even between the fire and the water, so small that there could but one man go there at once.

Now I don’t know about you but when I read this I understand that similar to those ocean currents, the Most High does not liken this walk to a free for all or a crossroads where all roads lead to the kingdom of heaven. He lets you know that there is only one path; one road. Secondly, this path is not a huge path. It is small and very narrow. So small that if we were both walking on it we could’nt fit side by side. It is not a very forgiving road. It is set in a dangerous place that you are liable to fall and die. Need it be death by fire and you burn or death by water and you drown. The key take away is, that all other paths lead to death.

Job 6:18 KJVS

[18] The paths of their way are turned aside; they go to nothing, and perish.

The “paths of their way” is referencing those who are wicked. Ranging from those that are in the world to those that appear to be in the truth. However, once you begin to converse with them or notice how they apply the law, it is perceived that they have one foot in and one foot out, or have some clear false doctrines and have gone left. This is because they have turned aside in one or more areas and now they are no longer on the path of righteousness. They are on the path to the lake of fire. So even though they walk, they walk to nothing good or safe and will ultimately perish if they do not repent or “change course”.

I liken it unto land navigation and reading a topographical map, as I had to learn in the military. If you shoot your azimuth and plot your points, even if you are 1 degree off. The further you have to go or the more miles you have to walk, the further you will be from your objective. All is not necessarily lost being a degree or so off. It just means you will have to literally look around you to be sure you are in the right location. Usually you will see how you weren’t too far off that you can’t easily correct yourself. Now that is just with one degree or so. If you are considerably off, let’s say, like in excess of 15 degrees or more. You will have to stop and re-plot your points on your map in order to find your appropriate location. And unfortunately, many don’t find out until they notice they should have arrived at their destination by now, or after some time the environment does not seem to match what the map says it should match or my understanding of where I am going should look like. You notice you are way off from where you should be and thought you were going. And even in training this is no small venture. You could literally be miles off and a search party HAS to come looking for you. Even had soldiers who not only got lost for hours but got seriously injured; from sprains to broken bones.

Job 19:8 KJVS

[8] He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.

When you are going left, the source is usually you have other unclean spirits on you, need it be a spirit of jealousy, hate, pride etc. Your path is covered in darkness that you cannot see your own way. And it is fenced up or hidden because you have forsaken the truth and applied your own way, even if it is in ignorance. You have become blind. You must humbly repent and fast and seek the Most High and ask for the revealing of secret faults.

Job 24:13 KJVS

[13] They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.

It is through your rebellion against what is good or righteous; the law being that light. That you end up on the wrong side of the road or going in the wrong direction. Because you choose not to abide, meaning stay on the path, so you end up losing sight of the right way and don’t truly know what direction you are heading in even if you feel comfortable or confident in that path.

Proverbs 1:15-16 KJVS

[15] My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: [16] For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

And if you know some Israelites of this nature, do not walk with them. Do not follow after them or go down the same path they are going down. For the path they are running down is evil. And they are moving quickly in a way that will lead to the blood shed of them and whoever is following them.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 KJVS

[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

And if you desire to help them find their way you must be balanced. If they do not sincerely want to repent you will only end up jeopardizing your own salvation. As God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lies they chose to chase. Because they did not have pleasure in righteousness. However, if you are sincere, he will first do what he can to guide you back to the light.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 KJVS

[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Unrighteousness can be deceptive. Often due to the fact that we are not always judged immediately and may even receive blessings from Satan that makes us feel our way is good. And there are some that were never going to choose to walk the right path so they were going to perish anyway. Yet, it is due because they do not love the truth (the law/righteousness) that they might have a chance to be saved. But all is not lost you can return if you move in sincerity and in truth.

Psalm 16:10-11 KJVS

[10] For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. [11] Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

But for the righteous, for the just man or woman. The Most High will not leave your spirit in hell. Bound in filth, with chains around you set for the lake of fire. He will show you the path through faith and humility. However, you must choose to walk down the path and change your mindset and actions accordingly even after he shows you.

Psalm 17:4-5 KJVS

[4] Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. [5] Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

It is the Most High’s word that will keep you on the straight and narrow path and out of the line of fire that could cause you to be destroyed. And it is also the Most High that will support you in your walk and hold you up lest you stumble that you should fall.

Psalm 119:105 KJVS

[105] Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

His word is the light that will reveal the way to go and make everything around you clear so that even if there is an obstacle you will know how to navigate around it.

Wisdom of Solomon 3:9 They that put their trust in him shall understand the truth: and such as be faithful in love shall abide with him: for grace and mercy is to his saints, and he hath care for his elect.

If you trust in the Most High, you will begin to understand the truth more and more. And you must be faithful in keeping his laws to be in safety with him. This is how you earn grace and mercy when you fall. The Most High doesn’t want your downfall. He loves all those who choose righteousness and fight for him and do his will. And he that is loved of the father is loved of the son. The more faithful you are, the more grace and mercy you earn.

Wisdom of Solomon 5:6 Therefore have we erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness hath not shined unto us, and the sun of righteousness rose not upon us.

Those who wandered off the path and never got it right will say in the end when the judgement is given to them how they have went astray from the path of truth and were never in the light or right way they thought they were. Even more so for those who were never on the path to begin with.

2 Esdras 14:22 But if I have found grace before thee, send the Holy Ghost into me, and I shall write all that hath been done in the world since the beginning, which were written in thy law, that men may find thy path, and that they which will live in the latter days may live.

Many of our forefathers found grace in his sight to be filled with the Most High’s spirit to accomplish his will and keep the memorial of his words written that we may find it and know which path leads to life that we may walk and go forth and live. Everyone is trying to find their own path and their own lane. Just fight to ensure it’s the right lane according to the Most High.

Sirach 37:15 And above all this pray to the most High, that he will direct thy way in truth.

We pray to the Lord and ask him to lead us on the path of truth and he will make all things clear if you fast, pray and apply his word in your life.

Ephesians 4:5-6 KJVS

[5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Yatab Yasharahla

Hebrews 2:13 KJVS

[13] And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
