Elder Tazarah
Manuel Antonio McKenzie , also known as Elder Tazarah aka Champ!! was born October.17.1956 in Peru then moved to the United States of American then later moved to Ghana. Elder Tazarah committed his life to the Most High, continuing in the faith for over 20 years. He was a rock to our community, never wavering in his commitment to champion for his people. He served as a deacon and elder of True Nation where he cried aloud throughout Los Angeles county streets and trained soldiers in hand to hand combat, emphasizing boxing and overall fitness. He was a father to the fatherless, taking young men from Southern California to Kumasi, Ghana and showing them how to build, starting with training their minds and bodies and ultimately using his own hands and investing plenty of his own time and money to build a school in the heart of Ashanti Kumasi known as City of Truth Ashanti Region. With an Abrahamic resolve he pioneered True Nation’s international travels and missionary work. Elder Tazarah was born in Peru, served in the US military and awakened to repentance as a veteran years later moving to Africa, his third continent, where he resided until his departure. Even after extreme illness and near death experiences, Tazarah refused to abandon the mission the FATHER assigned him. Tazarah gave his life building a place of refuge for Israelites in Ghana and he will be sorely missed. Elder Tazarah transitioned June/7/2025. He leaves behind his beautiful children, grandchildren, brothers, and his True Nation family here in the states and internationally. We salute you for the work you have put in for the nation, you will always be our champion.
Wisdom of Solomon 4:7-10
But though the righteous be prevented with death, yet shall he be in rest.
8 For honourable age is not that which standeth in length of time, nor that is measured by number of years.
9 But wisdom is the gray hair unto men, and an unspotted life is old age.
10 He pleased God, and was beloved of him: so that living among sinners he was translated.
Rest well Elder.
