Sexual Hygiene

It can seem a little uncomfortable when we think of what goes on behind closed doors. But some things have to come to light and be conversed about to get a righteous understanding of. Especially, to ensure we are in spiritual compliance. Ready or not here it comes; sexual hygiene (no pun intended). But our father likes us to be holy and although being unclean within itself isn’t a sin. It is important to know what can make us unclean and how to clean ourselves up. Especially, when presenting ourselves to the Father. Now keep in mind that we do have some leniency because we do not have the tabernacle or temple among us like they did in the time of Moses and Joshua or in the time of the kings. Furthermore, we aren’t going to a physical temple to make sacrifices either, so it isn’t do or die for us in the same way as it was for most of our history. Now our biggest concern is being clean for Passover, since that is a holy meal we partake of every year that you must be clean to eat. Aside from that, we don’t have to have the same fear of death for not following these aspects to a “T”, however, they still apply in terms of sanitation. Warning, this article contains graphic descriptions some readers may not find suitable for their children.

Leviticus 15:16

And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

If a man’s seed of copulation; seed meaning sperm, and copulation meaning sexual intercourse. If that goes from him; meaning he ejaculates. Then he is commanded to wash his whole body. Not just take a bird bath. He must submerge himself in water and wash his whole body and then when the evening comes he will be considered clean again.

Leviticus 15:17

And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.

Every garment and every skin lets us know that any sheet, blanket, article of clothing that was ejaculated on is now unclean and needs to be washed with water and be unclean until the evening comes. So no, let me just use some fabreeze on it. Hit it with some cologne or perfume real quick. No, it needs to be washed. And yes, washed means with soap and water!

Jeremiah 2:22 KJV

For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.

God knew our people knew and understood “wash” means soap and water. Or utilization of anything else they had like potassium or sodium based minerals in conjunction with water that would clean the skin.

Don’t think our people generally used water only to wash items. We understood then, just as many of us do now. When your parent or grandparent told you go wash up, or go wash yourself you knew that meant soap and water to get clean. The same is true for the Most High. And best believe, you may know and understand this but others do not know and understand this which is why God had to make it law. Because somebody would say “well that ain’t uh commandment.” And keep in mind, we are not all raised the same either. What may have been normal for you growing up may not be normal for another person, even living next door to you. And habits such as things ranging from etiquette to food can differ even from city to city, state to state and even country to country.

1 Timothy 1:6-11 KJVS

From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; [7] Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. [8] But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; [9] Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, [10] For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; [11] According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Make sure your mindset and spirit is aligned with this faith, the Lord and anything that seems Godly, that the law may say indirectly or reading between the lines. Lest you be an Israelite that swerved left off the path and turn to vain jangling and be off. Teach the things that one can stand on as solid doctrine and sound reasoning and judgement. Not just this is how I feel or what I think it says. When if one took an honest look they would see the truth.

God made things law just so we made sure to enforce things that otherwise some of our people will try to ignore or find a way out of. Remember, we aren’t all raised the same. But God makes standards that he wants all of us to follow the same.

Leviticus 15:18

The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.

It’s not just the man but the woman also who the man has sex with and ejaculates in (or on) must also wash herself. They both have to bathe and are unclean until the evening. God is very specific. He has to be because again, some Israelite will come along and say, “that’s just you men.” “It don’t say dat.”

Teach what becometh sound doctrine.

You have to always assess if you, or someone you know or are talking to, is in a mindset that they are trying to wholisticly look at the law and the scriptures with sound judgement and in sincerity and truth. Or do they have an agenda or motive? That will make all the difference in how they reason with scriptures to bend to their own lust. That even if something isn’t explicitly stated you must search the scriptures to know if this is something God would deem good or bad. Because someone may say, (in this context) “well what if I nut in a condom?””It aint get on nothing.” Or “well if he ain’t nut in me I’m good.” But any man, woman (and unfortunately older child) who has had sexual intercourse knows and understands to some degree that even if you shower prior to sexual intercourse the act itself will cause things such as sweat and odors to develop in a plethora of cracks and crevices. Fluids are also flowing throughout genital and bodily regions. Now, with that being said, would you still believe it would be righteous or holy to go 24 hours or hell, the rest of the day without washing your body? And even after you wash your body would you still sleep in the same bed on the same blankets and sheets you used for sexual intercourse even though they are not washed yet? And lastly, would The Most High God agree with you? I pray and hope your answer is no.

Levitivus 15:31

Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

See the key in all this is to understand that failure to follow these things to a “T” could mean that you could be in jeopardy of being imminently put to death if you attempted to make an offering or go to the temple unclean. Because The Most High’s tabernacle was among us it was imperative that our camp was to be clean. And if we present ourselves before The Most High and his alter we must be clean; or we die.

Leviticus 15:32

This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;

Yatab Yasharahla

Hebrews 2:13 KJVS

[13] And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
