Who is Us? Like Father, Like Son
Genesis 1:26 KJVS
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
If you, like many of us, have read the book of Genesis, you have stumbled across this verse at some point in time. “Let US make man in our image” which resonates with one major question… Who is us? As we have always been taught and believed that there is only one God.
Deuteronomy 32:39 KJVS
[39] See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
To top things off we have scriptures like this that seem to add to the confusion. As he says here and seems to convey that he is God and there is no God with him. Therefore, us must be the angels right? No, not exactly.
Before we have a mental meltdown let us understand precept upon precept as to what is being conveyed and return back to some of the previously mentioned scriptures. It will make more sense at the end.
John 14:8-9 KJVS
[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. [9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
The disciples wanted to see the Most High; they wanted to see the Father. However, Christ lets them know that if you have seen him (which they have) they have seen the father. Why?
John 1:18 KJVS
[18] No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
At no point in the history of the earth have we as human beings seen the Most High. Take a moment to process that.
John 5:37 KJVS
[37] And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
This information is so pertinent it’s mentioned again. And with more context. None have heard Gods voice, nor seen him in bodily form. This is because the one we thought was God the Father, was really God the Son acting in place as the Father! This is another reason as to why the Pharisees had a problem with Christ because they thought he was making himself both God, the king of the Jews and the Son of God... All of which is true.
John 10:33-34 KJVS
[33] The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. [34] Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Christ was informing our people through a rhetorical question that I told you, you are Gods. But when did he say this?
Psalm 82:6-7 KJVS
[6] I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. [7] But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
This is the account we are given when Christ told us these words. That we are gods. Yet, we shall die as men due to transgression.
John 8:53,56-58 KJVS
[53] Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? [56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. [57] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? [58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Our people were well versed with the history of our forefathers. So they were asking if Christ believed he was greater than the great people we read about. And he lets you know that Abraham was happy to see me. But when did he see Abraham and Abraham see him?
Genesis 18:1-3,22,33 KJVS
[1] And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; [2] And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, [3] And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: [22] And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. [33] And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
This is when Abraham was dealing with Christ. These three “men” were Christ and two angels.
John 8:53,56-58 KJVS

Christ was letting them know two things. Before Abraham was born I existed. Secondly, he is giving reference to who he was and the words he gave in an earlier account.
Exodus 3:13-15 KJVS
[13] And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? [14] And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. [15] And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
Christ was letting it be known that I AM the one who appeared unto your forefathers then. He has been there since the beginning.

God is making reference to the powers that be. Which was understood by our forefathers from the beginning that there was a father and a son.
Psalm 110:1 KJVS
[1] The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
This is a Psalm of David. Why would David being king say “The Lord said unto my Lord”? Seeing that there was no other being in higher authority and rulership to him. This is because he and many of our forefathers knew that the proper reading of this passage would be YHWH said unto Yahawashi sit thou at my right hand.
Proverbs 30:4 KJVS
[4] Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
In context, only a celestial being could do the things being referenced in the rhetorical questions being asked in this passage. However, the key defining moment is understanding this and then being asked, “what is his name and what is his sons name, if thou canst tell?” That yes, God has a name, and he has a son! Who also has a name! And if God has a son, what would that make his son? A God. However, does having a son mean that the father and son are equal. Not so, for even nature teaches us that not to be true.
John 17:4-6 KJVS
[4] I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. [5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. [6] I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
Christ never puts himself in a place where he is equal to the Father. And he is always sure to reference the Most High God as “Father”. Remember, “God” in essence means power, but which power are you praying to? Christ knows he is a power, but he is reaching out to the highest power in whom there is no equal. Though in his own right he is also a father, but he is not The Father.
Deuteronomy 32:18 KJVS
[18] Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
Many of us have forgotten the power that formed us and made us. And who that “Rock” was.
Psalm 78:35 KJVS
[35] And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
Now we are remembering (for at one time we knew) that Yahawashi was our rock and YHWH our redeemer.

The being that manifested himself in the burning bush, the being that smote Miriam with leprosy, the being that formed the heavens and the earth. Was all done by the man whom the world knows as Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 3:9 KJVS
[9] And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Christ created all things. The Most High gave the orders and the instruction. Christ carried it out. This is why in some movies and shows you see a man running the show, calling the shots. Yet, the whole time he was the number two guy. He wasn’t even the number one guy, but you would have almost never have guessed it in some cases.
John 14:28 KJVS
[28] Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
